Overview
Bacteriostatic water (BW) is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol (v/v) as a preservative. The benzyl alcohol inhibits microbial growth, allowing the same vial to be accessed multiple times with a needle without introducing contamination — hence the "bacteriostatic" designation. This makes it the preferred reconstitution vehicle for research peptides that will be used across multiple sessions or stored for extended periods after reconstitution.
Unlike plain sterile water, bacteriostatic water maintains sterility for up to 28 days after first puncture when properly stored, significantly extending the usable window of reconstituted peptide solutions. It is compatible with the vast majority of research peptides including BPC-157, TB-500, CJC-1295, ipamorelin, sermorelin, semaglutide, and many others.

How to Use
This IS the reconstitution vehicle. To use: swab the vial septum with an alcohol wipe, insert a sterile needle, and withdraw the required volume. Inject slowly along the inside wall of your lyophilized peptide vial. Gently swirl — do not vortex. Store reconstituted peptides at 2–8°C.
